Dan Walkington is an Emmy award-winning producer with 15 years of television, digital and content production under his belt in Australia. Beginning his career in the National Geographic library, Dan rose through the ranks to ultimately lead production teams responsible for developing, producing and distributing local content in AU/NZ.

In 2019 Dan partnered with production company Butter Media overseeing their content slate. To date developing and producing 25 hours of factual productions, including Bear: Koala Hero (Foxtel), Built to Survive (ABC ME/ACTF/Screen NSW) and international hit series Outback Wrangler (Nat Geo Wild). Dan is currently developing a new factual format with ABC ME & Screen NSW and consulting with external producers on a range of documentary projects and feature docs.  Dan also regularly consults for the Australian Museum on communications and content development and production.
