Ingredients
450g brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
100ml water
60g butter
Half a lemon
Method
Heat large pan over medium-high heat.
Add sprouts, water and butter, season to taste with salt.
Reduce heat, simmer for 8 minutes stirring occasionally until the water has evaporated and the sprouts are crisp and tender.
Continue to cook for approx. 6 minutes or till the sprouts are golden and tender. Don’t let them go mushy.
Plate up sprouts and add a squeeze of lemon.
Pairs well with fish and potato.
