Ingredients

  • 625g packet of your favourite Ravioli

  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter

  • 1/2 medium onion, thinly sliced

  • 16-20 fresh sage leaves

  • 1 fresh chilli

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

  • 3/4 cup freshly grated parmesan

Method

  1. Cook ravioli according to package. Drain and set aside for later.

  2. While the ravioli cooks, heat the butter in a large pan on medium-low heat till it foams. Then add in the onion, stirring for 1 - 2 minutes.

  3. Add in the sage, turning up the heat to medium, cooking so the leaves become crisp, 1 - 2 minutes.

  4. Remove from heat and season with salt and pepper.

  5. Pour the sage butter over the ravioli cooked earlier, mix gently. Add in ½ cup of parmesan and mix again.

  6. Divide the ravioli among bowls and top with the rest of the parmesan.
